SNOWDROP to Launch at Autumn Shows

From Stone Designs that brought to life Innermost’s latest exhibition design, we present you – Snowdrop. This delightful lamp was derived from many hours of observing the quiet beauty of various bulbous plants such as the Spring Snowflake, the Lily of the Valley, and of course, the Snowdrop – slender stems gently bowing from the combined weight of a string of colourful blossoms.

From this, designers Cutu Mazuelos and Eva Prego from Stone Designs abstracted a clean, minimalist shape that resembled the amalgamation of those bulbous flowers, carrying with them the various stories and references behind each plant. The resulting Snowdrop light has a soft glow that playfully peeks through candy-coloured veils. And like their floral counterparts, each lamp appears to drift effortlessly in mid-air. Now this gentle ambiance can finally be captured and used to deliver charm and
character to any interior.

Snowdrop will be launching for the first time on Innermost’s exhibition stand this coming September at Maison et Objet in Paris and Designjunction in London the week following.

Innermost Projects

Hey! We’ve added a growing number of new projects and locations where you can find our quirky lighting and furniture range!

We are so excited to be collaborating with architects and designers, and participating in the design culture of places far and wide, including Greece, Dubai, the United States, Hong Kong, Germany, Australia, and the list goes on. Of course, we continue to be thankful of the tremendous support and recognition from our London home as well.
Have a flick through the Project Page and get inspired!

New Products from October 2014

We received incredible feedback about the new products – Latitude by Flynn Talbot, Parasol by Jonas Forsman, and Gable by Jarrod Lim –  we launched in Frankfurt Light + Building earlier in April. Then we took these beauties to you in Milan, and then back home to our mates in London.

After much anticipation, we are now thrilled to announce that they will be available to order starting from October 2014.

If you haven’t experienced these lights yourself, we will also be bringing them to Maison et Object in France and Designjunction London later in Autumn. Be on the look out for more updates!

BUBBLE: More with Less

From the bold shapes of fashion jewellery to the sophisticated silhouettes of decorative lighting, Bubble was one of Innermost’s first spotlight pendants. Designed by Co-founder Steve Jones, this playful downlight took inspiration from a simple earring. Now it adorns many hotels and other commercial spaces around the globe.

This year will see the launch of a new version of Bubble. New Bubble will be smaller and lighter making it much more flexible for creative installations. Perfect for staggered rows, clusters, or as an accent in neatly spaced positions.

Stocks of the original light might run out before the new version becomes available, but keep a look out for the launch of the new Bubble pendant spotlight later this year!

The “Vivienne Westwood of Lighting”

Those of you that visited us at Frankfurt Light+Building exhibition last week must have been happily surprised at our new look.

Striving to be “as British as London itself” has always been an integral part of Innermost’s company philosophy. Characterised by a high adaptability and a global vision, the vivid diversity in the metropolis that is London can be witnessed in the breadth of our collection. Our quirky and rebellious approach to design driven by high-spirited London culture.

Now Stone Design Concepts Inc. has translated that sensibility into a visual language for our exhibition stand. This is the story of a culture with greatly antagonistic qualities – on the one hand, we have classical English tradition (dark wood and green flooring reminiscent of English Gentleman’s clubs) and on the other hand, the tumultuous punk culture (contrasting, sharply cut yellow graphics). And Innermost exists in the coming together of these heterogeneous elements, purveying taste and quality with a non-conformist attitude.
